Landscape Technician (Lawn Care)

Educational Background, Experience, and/or Additional Requirements for Landscape Technician/ Lawn Care:
- At least 25 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- High School diploma or equivalent
- No lawn care experience required, We offer paid training
- A valid Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle record is required
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical
Physical Demands and Working Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, drive, stand, walk, climb, stoop, bend, crouch, reach for objects, lift up to 50 pounds and/or drag up to 100 pounds with daily regularity. This position will be working primarily outdoors on residential and commercial properties. While working outdoors this position will encounter varying, sometimes adverse weather conditions, temperatures, and environmental factors.
Essential Duties and Tasks for Landscape Technician/ Lawn Care:
- Employee will be required to obtain the required spray technician license by passing a written examination within the first 60 days of employment.
- Mixing, loading and applying pesticides and fertilizers by using spray guns, fertilization equipment, backpack sprayers, spreader and related equipment.
Necessary Skills and Abilities for Landscape Technician/ Lawn Care:
- Be a self-starter and independent worker who is comfortable working alone for most shifts and excellent people skills
- Must be competent in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the English language
- Must be competent in basic math and calculator skills are a must
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: From $18.00 per hour
